Staffing companies have a legal obligation to comply with all applicable employment laws. Just like other types of employees, temporary employees are protected by employment laws—including those pertaining to harassment.
“The Respectful Workplace,” the ASA–NYSA harassment prevention training program, is a staffing-specific, interactive course designed to meet the needs of New York staffing companies. This course content was developed by Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP (NYSA’s corporate counsel), in conjunction with the ASA legal department.
Features of this program, which takes about 35 minutes for employees to complete, include

The fee is $2,500 per year. The program must be renewed on an annual basis each calendar year.
