Brief description of the program: Member owned group captives provide a stable and predictable environment for best in class companies to manage their casualty insurance. As shareholders, each company not only participates in their own underwriting profits, but also participate in the direction of the captive overall. The session will also focus on the accounting and tax items that surround the use of a captive and how they impact the staffing firms who participate in them.

• Larissa Akrawi, SVP and Lead Captive Executive, Captive Resources - A 23 year veteran of Captive Resources, Larissa brings captive management and staffing industry experience together to provide shareholders with an effective solution to the challenges staffing companies face in the traditional marketplace.    
  
• Mike Hutton, Business Develop Executive, Captive Resources - Mike has 9 years of insurance industry experience starting with Aon, then Allianz and now at Captive Resources (CRI). In his current role, he is actively seeking out new clients, through our broking partners, to join the Group Captive programs that CRI administers. He works in tandem with the Captive Executives across all our the CRI Group Captive Programs by acting as a key contact and captive educator in the Northeast.
• Jerry Grady, Partner& Staffing Industry Practice Leader, UHY LLP - Jerry is the chairman of UHY’s National Staffing Practice where he leads a team of more than 20 professionals who provide accounting, attest, tax, digital transformation, consulting, cybersecurity, and M&A, services to more than 200 staffing companies across the U.S. Jerry is the chair of the American Staffing Association’s (ASA) Professional Managerial Section Council, a policy council member of the ASA, board member of the Ohio Search & Staffing Association, industry partner board member of the New York Staffing Association, and industry partner member of the Colorado Staffing Association.
