Speaker:

James Rieger is a partner at Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP, New York, NY. Tannenbaum Helpern is a 45 year old general practice law firm centered on providing solutions to entrepreneurs, investors and institutions. James has over 25 years’ experience with a broad corporate and securities law practice, with a focus on the staffing and distribution industries, and represents public and private companies, hedge funds, merchant banks, private equity funds, exchange traded funds, venture capital funds, investment banks, underwriters, and private investors in many types of transactions, including public and private debt and equity offerings, credit facilities, mergers, acquisitions, fund formation, activist investments, restructurings and divestitures of assets and divisions. James is a past Chairman of the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee of the Business Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Chad Gardiner is a Senior Managing Director at Griffin Financial Group.  He has more than 23 years of experience assisting with financial advisory, capital raising and strategic investments. With extensive experience negotiating and presenting to publicly traded companies, privately held companies and financial sponsors, he has successfully managed more than 50 mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $7 billion and has executed financing transactions that have raised approximately $1 billion. He has particular experience with guiding financing engagements in the staffing, IT and business services sectors. Prior to joining Griffin Financial Group, he was a Managing Director at Bridgepoint Investment Banking where he specialized in capital raising and merger and acquisition advisory for middle-market companies. Before this role, he was a Senior Vice President at Capstone Headwaters and, earlier in his career, an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch.
